The Film Sherlock Holmes caught attention to american viewers. The film was released on December 25, 2009 and devastated the film industry. Nominated for 2 Oscar's, 13 nominations, and won 5 awards proved to the film industry how effective Guy Ritchies works are. Detective SHerlock Holmes and his partner Watson engages in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis who's plot if to threat all of england. After catching the serial killer "sorcerer" Lord Blackwood, Holmes and Watson close another succeful case. However, Blackwood mysteriously returns from the dead and resumes his killing spree. Contending with his partner, the detective must unravel the clues that will lead him to solve this case. After killing 5 women, Loard Blackwood is near to kill his 6th, but holmes and his partner solve the mysterious tactics used by blackwood and resolve the case off a London bridge where Blackwood is caught and hung by his own fate.

Summary of Major Works
The FIlm Sherlock Holmes is one of Guy Ritchies major works, also one of my favorite films. Directed by Guy Ritchie and Produced by Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey, and Dan Lin. The film portrays a mysterious villain connected to occult rituals, while Holmes accumulates a series of investigation, and murders connected to the villain. The film went on general release in the United States on Dec 25, 2009. This Film was nominated for two academy awards; Best original Score and Best Art Direction.

Growing up from a tough life, Guy Ritchie's films and themes mainly reflected off from his personal life. his first full length film " Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrels" was introduced to his ex-wife Madonna with her sound track following up on the film. Ritchie accompanied Madonna music to his debuts on his past films. Songs such as "What It Feels Like For a Girl" portays a controversial video, engaging in violent behavior in one of his films "Star". Guy Ritchies Influences came from his mom, sister Tabitha, and half brother Kevin. living through a tough life with a divorced mother is what pushed Ritchie to make it out on top.

Guy Ritchie was born in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK in 1968. As a child, Ritchie decided what he wanted to do was to make films. He never attended film school, saying that the work film industry was boring and unwatchful. At the age of fifteen Rithchie dropped out of school. In 1955, Ritchie got a job as a runner and this quickly proved to be the start of his film career. he quickly progressed and was directing music promos for bands and commercials by 1995. Guy Ritchie married Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone at the age of 32 on December 22, 2000 at the Skibo Castle in Scotland. Ritchie and Modonna had four lovely children, names John. David, lourdes Maria, and Chifundo Mercy. However, two were adopted. In November 21, 2008 Ritchie and Madonna announce their divorce and go there separate ways.
